Satay

Satay (/ˈsæt//ˈsɑːt/ sah-tay), modern Indonesian  spelling of sate, is a dish of seasonedskewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce.Satay may consist of diced or sliced chickengoatmuttonbeefporkfish, other meats, or tofu; the more authentic version uses skewers from the midrib of the coconut palm frond, although bamboo skewers are often used. These are grilled or barbecued over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with various spicy seasonings.
Sate Ponorogo.jpg
Satay originated in Java, Indonesia. It is available almost anywhere in Indonesia, where it has become a national dish. It is also popular in many other Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, SingaporeBruneiThailand, the Philippines, as well as in Suriname and the Netherlands, as Indonesia and Suriname are former Dutch colonies.
These tasty meat skewers cook up over coals so hot they need fans to waft the smoke away.
Whether it’s chicken, goat, mutton or rabbit, the scrappy morsels get marinated in turmeric, barbecued and then bathed in a hearty dose of peanut sauce.
Other nations now lay claim to sate, but Indonesians consider it a national dish conceived by street vendors and popularized by Arab traders.
Each vendor seeks distinction, but "sate madura" –- served with rice cakes (ketupat) and diced cucumber and onion -– is distinguished by its boat-shaped street carts.

These are some type of satay based by the ingredient

- cut the beef into 1 cm dice. (cube cut or macedoine cut)
- put it into the skewer (3-4 pieces in one skewer)
- add 3 tbs of the sauce and lots of sweet soya sauce on top of it. Mix well.
- Marinate the beef in 5 minutes and start to grill it. Tips: brush the beef with the marinate sauce while grilling. It will become more delicious.
- Occasionaly turn the beef until its cooked. The beef its easily cooked so be careful.
- After all the satay its cooked, put the rest of the sauce, sweet soya sauce (around 5 tbs spoon or more), kaffir lime juice (half or 1 of it) and mix it together.
- Put the fried shallots on top of it. Serve with nice warm rice.

Replace the beef with chicken breast then it'll be chicken satay, and so do the other meats. But, it'll be great if you make your own sauce recipe with your own taste.

My Fantastic Holiday

Hei Ho good people ! :D Now i'll tell you about my last semester break.

The holiday started after study result given by school to the student. It was very pathetic because my semester result wasn't great. At the beginning, my holiday activity was training and preparing for Pendas which was Jamadagni's extracurricular activity.

Pendas was held at 27th Desember until 2 January. Pendas was very tough activity, it trained me to be an excellent boy with skill. the training wasn't like how i used to be. They trained me to be more focus and care about my circle. I remember that when the new year came, i was on my emergency shelter that builded by some leafs and trunks. It was rainy that night.

The saddest moment is when my parents came to pick me up at the last day. It was as the same time when i leveled up from student to young member of Jamadagni. I changed my yellow student shawl to blue young member shawl.

I came to my house at 10AM. After seven day not showering, finally i got shower at my house and spend half a hour to clean my body. After i got shower, i fell asleep. Then i woke up at 6PM, when my parents woke me and told me to pray.

At 7PM me and my parents went to my house at Pangalengan. It was very nice and so relaxing. I was very happy there. I got so many scar on my feet and my arms, i felt my back was very awful. I couldn't feel my feet when it was touched. My fingertip's skin was peeled. Thehe enough about the complaint, the point is, my condition was very bad that time.

I got brightened up when my mom told that some meat from the new year party was stored for me. I jumped from my bed that time, and started to grill all with myself. Then my spirit restored, and i started to do some activities again.

I was very happy when i met my childhood friends in Pangalengan. They took me to Cukul, a place at Pangalengan which has an extreme road way. They played Gravity bike there. Gravity bike was an ordinary freestyle bike but the chasis of the bike was up downed so the bike shape was like some MotoGP shape. It was very extreme. But my childhood friends enjoyed it and mastered it.

After i spend my holiday at my house, i went to my grandma's house. I met a many of my cousin there. Again, i have a great time there. I played many card game, computer game, and even kite. I told my cousin about my experience when pendas. They thought it was horrible and scary. I got lot of money there.

After so many fantastic things on my holiday, i felt that i don't wanna go to school again. But, duty is a duty, and of course i won't leave my duty. Especially a duty that my parents give.

The Story of a Blind Girl

The Story of a Blind Girl
There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”
The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying:
“Just take care of my eyes dear.”

Matswapati has a slogan, it's "Kenali budayamu, cintailah negerimu” which can motivate all the people of Indonesia, and perhaps another country to love your own country, and dont forget your own culture. Don't let your own culture replaced by another culture or forgotten.
At one day before Matswapati began, every classes is preparing and decorating hard their stand to made it look amazing. So they could be the winner of "Stand ter-keren" and got one million rupiah.
And this is my classmate when decorating stand.

The climax of Matswapati was performance of Glenn Fredly. Glenn Fredly performance attracted many people. Glenn Fredly sang very beautifully. His sound was very smooth and good to hear.
After Glenn Fredly finished his performance, many visitor leaved Matswapati. It's very regrettably, because there was 'Debus Show' after Glenn Fredly show. The Debus show was very cool and amazing. They played fire friskily. I was very entertained to watch them.
It's all about Matswapati from my point. Thanks for reading :D see you

My Unforgottable Experience

My Unforgottable Experience

Hello everyone on this third post, i will tell you about my unforgottable experience. But don’t take this too seriously, because i will make it more interesting. I will make the story fresher and maybe I will make some event that not actually happened. So, enjoy the story but don’t take it too seriously.
This story is from five years ago when I was at elementary school. The story begin when I went to a humid village to camp for scout’s activity with my cousin. It was my first camping. Back there I was at same elementary school with my cousin.
My tent was very ugly. It made from blue ugly terpaulin. But our tent have a good capacity. My cousin and I was in same tent. I was very happy because I always felt protected.
All people of my tent was very freak. They played fire on tent, played card, and fought each other to get fun just like barbarians. The first day of my camp activity was very bored. We all trained to live with nature theoritical, and it was made me confuse. At least, me and my team just ignore the trainer and start to talk each other.
The second day is very fun and so tired. We all played at forrest, gathering food, and start to get knew each other from other school. When I was running around, I fell and hit a boy from other school. I was apologizing him, but he not forgived me and he scold me and in the end he started to hit me. I started to felt angry too, and hit him back. When we fought, friends of that boy appeared and he helped him. I beaten and start to cry.
I came back to my ugly tent. And my cousin was surprised. He asked me why, and who did that. I told him the story and without thinking he stand up and searching the boy who beat me. He found the boy’s tent. He entered the tent, he shouted, and he made that tent wretched. I saw him from distance. Every boy of that tent scared, because my cousin was a tall and very brave boy.
When my cousin was on that tent, the two boys who had beaten me came. He beat them, until the trainer came and took my cousin. The trainer advised him and he ordered my cousin to apologize. I know my cousin won’t do that, but he won’t made the trainer angry and made him on trouble. So, he apologized. And its very funny when the two boys who had beaten me want to be apologized by me too. I knew they are afraid for future trouble from my cousin.
The third day, my camp activity was about to over. It was very incomprehensive because what happened on the second day made my team and that two boys’s team act cooperatively. We shared our food each other, our tools, and we help each other when packing time.
