'Halo' The Rainbow Ring

Do you ever seen a a ring such a rainbow around the sun or moon ? Do you have idea why it's happened ? Where it's usually happened ? Before i explain, let's see how people react when they saw the rainbow ring

Haha so they don't have any idea what is going on with our sun, some of them feel amazed, curious, and confused.
Here is the explanation of the rainbow ring, or Halo

A halo (from Greek ἅλως, halōs; also known as a nimbus, icebow or gloriole) is an optical phenomenon produced by light interacting with ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere, resulting in a wide variety of colored or white rings, arcs and spots in the sky. Many halos are near the Sun or Moon, but others occur elsewhere or even in the opposite part of the sky. Among the most well known halo types are the circular halo (properly called the 22° halo), light pillars and sun dogs, but there are many more; some of them fairly common, others (extremely) rare.

The ice crystals responsible for halos are typically suspended in cirrus or cirrostratus clouds high (5–10 km, or 3–6 miles) in the uppertroposphere, but in cold weather they can also float near the ground, in which case they are referred to as diamond dust. The particular shape and orientation of the crystals is responsible for the type of halo observed. Light is reflected and refracted by the ice crystals and may split up into colors because of dispersion. The crystals behave like prisms and mirrors, refracting and reflecting light between their faces, sending shafts of light in particular directions.

Atmospheric phenomena such as halos were used as part of weather lore as an empirical means of weather forecasting beforemeteorology was developed. They often do mean that rain is going to fall within the next 24 hours as the cirrostratus clouds that cause them can signify an approaching frontal system.

This is all but a meteorological phenomenon, This optical phenomenon can occur both around the sun and the moon, and is produced when tiny ice crystals contained in high cirrostratus clouds get hit by the sun’s light. Because of the hexagonal structure of the ice crystal , these particles refract light twice (on the way in and way out) bending the light approximately 22-degrees from its intended path and producing a ring of light around the sun that goes from red (~21.54°) on the inside to blue (~22.37°) on the outside.  This is why the phenomenon is also sometimes referred to as a 22 degree-halo.
While the beautiful sight may complement the springtime weather, the sun halo is not limited to a certain season and can happen anytime, anywhere, depending on the viewer's vantage point and the sun's position. However, the occasional sighting -- similar to a rainbow -- is more common in the fall, winter and spring "when the northern jet stream descends southward, drawing down Arctic air masses," NASA notes.

Satay

Satay (/ˈsæt//ˈsɑːt/ sah-tay), modern Indonesian  spelling of sate, is a dish of seasonedskewered and grilled meat, served with a sauce.Satay may consist of diced or sliced chickengoatmuttonbeefporkfish, other meats, or tofu; the more authentic version uses skewers from the midrib of the coconut palm frond, although bamboo skewers are often used. These are grilled or barbecued over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with various spicy seasonings.
Sate Ponorogo.jpg
Satay originated in Java, Indonesia. It is available almost anywhere in Indonesia, where it has become a national dish. It is also popular in many other Southeast Asian countries, including Malaysia, SingaporeBruneiThailand, the Philippines, as well as in Suriname and the Netherlands, as Indonesia and Suriname are former Dutch colonies.
These tasty meat skewers cook up over coals so hot they need fans to waft the smoke away.
Whether it’s chicken, goat, mutton or rabbit, the scrappy morsels get marinated in turmeric, barbecued and then bathed in a hearty dose of peanut sauce.
Other nations now lay claim to sate, but Indonesians consider it a national dish conceived by street vendors and popularized by Arab traders.
Each vendor seeks distinction, but "sate madura" –- served with rice cakes (ketupat) and diced cucumber and onion -– is distinguished by its boat-shaped street carts.

These are some type of satay based by the ingredient

- cut the beef into 1 cm dice. (cube cut or macedoine cut)
- put it into the skewer (3-4 pieces in one skewer)
- add 3 tbs of the sauce and lots of sweet soya sauce on top of it. Mix well.
- Marinate the beef in 5 minutes and start to grill it. Tips: brush the beef with the marinate sauce while grilling. It will become more delicious.
- Occasionaly turn the beef until its cooked. The beef its easily cooked so be careful.
- After all the satay its cooked, put the rest of the sauce, sweet soya sauce (around 5 tbs spoon or more), kaffir lime juice (half or 1 of it) and mix it together.
- Put the fried shallots on top of it. Serve with nice warm rice.

Replace the beef with chicken breast then it'll be chicken satay, and so do the other meats. But, it'll be great if you make your own sauce recipe with your own taste.

My Fantastic Holiday

Hei Ho good people ! :D Now i'll tell you about my last semester break.

The holiday started after study result given by school to the student. It was very pathetic because my semester result wasn't great. At the beginning, my holiday activity was training and preparing for Pendas which was Jamadagni's extracurricular activity.

Pendas was held at 27th Desember until 2 January. Pendas was very tough activity, it trained me to be an excellent boy with skill. the training wasn't like how i used to be. They trained me to be more focus and care about my circle. I remember that when the new year came, i was on my emergency shelter that builded by some leafs and trunks. It was rainy that night.

The saddest moment is when my parents came to pick me up at the last day. It was as the same time when i leveled up from student to young member of Jamadagni. I changed my yellow student shawl to blue young member shawl.

I came to my house at 10AM. After seven day not showering, finally i got shower at my house and spend half a hour to clean my body. After i got shower, i fell asleep. Then i woke up at 6PM, when my parents woke me and told me to pray.

At 7PM me and my parents went to my house at Pangalengan. It was very nice and so relaxing. I was very happy there. I got so many scar on my feet and my arms, i felt my back was very awful. I couldn't feel my feet when it was touched. My fingertip's skin was peeled. Thehe enough about the complaint, the point is, my condition was very bad that time.

I got brightened up when my mom told that some meat from the new year party was stored for me. I jumped from my bed that time, and started to grill all with myself. Then my spirit restored, and i started to do some activities again.

I was very happy when i met my childhood friends in Pangalengan. They took me to Cukul, a place at Pangalengan which has an extreme road way. They played Gravity bike there. Gravity bike was an ordinary freestyle bike but the chasis of the bike was up downed so the bike shape was like some MotoGP shape. It was very extreme. But my childhood friends enjoyed it and mastered it.

After i spend my holiday at my house, i went to my grandma's house. I met a many of my cousin there. Again, i have a great time there. I played many card game, computer game, and even kite. I told my cousin about my experience when pendas. They thought it was horrible and scary. I got lot of money there.

After so many fantastic things on my holiday, i felt that i don't wanna go to school again. But, duty is a duty, and of course i won't leave my duty. Especially a duty that my parents give.

The Story of a Blind Girl

The Story of a Blind Girl
There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?”
The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying:
“Just take care of my eyes dear.”

The Cultural Festival Matswapati

Aye - aye pals ! Now i wanna tell you about Cultural Festival held by my school, Matswapati.
It  held at 27thSeptember 2014 at Bali's Field. It's about 50m from my school. And it was strategic time, because it held after two days of Bandung's Anniversary.
Matswapati has a slogan, it's "Kenali budayamu, cintailah negerimu” which can motivate all the people of Indonesia, and perhaps another country to love your own country, and dont forget your own culture. Don't let your own culture replaced by another culture or forgotten.
At one day before Matswapati began, every classes is preparing and decorating hard their stand to made it look amazing. So they could be the winner of "Stand ter-keren" and got one million rupiah.
And this is my classmate when decorating stand.
This picture taken after we working hard to serve visitor
And then the day of Matswapati held came. First we are doing parade to promote Matswapati and to attract people to came. Every stand had their own mascot, and our mascot is Davy he act as Arjuna. Our stand provide puzzle game, iq game, phone chargery station, and post card introduce.
Everyone who wanted to play our game should pay Rp.2000 and if they can break the puzzle or answer the iq test would get one kitkat.
Visitors are prohibited to brought food, drink, weapon, and cigarette. To made sure there was no one brought the prohibited thing, some of commitee guard up the entrance and checking up the visitors. Even that i was one of the student of 3 senior high school Bandung, the commitee not just ignore me and just like the other. I must pass the checking from commitee to enter Matswapati.
The climax of Matswapati was performance of Glenn Fredly. Glenn Fredly performance attracted many people. Glenn Fredly sang very beautifully. His sound was very smooth and good to hear.
After Glenn Fredly finished his performance, many visitor leaved Matswapati. It's very regrettably, because there was 'Debus Show' after Glenn Fredly show. The Debus show was very cool and amazing. They played fire friskily. I was very entertained to watch them.
It's all about Matswapati from my point. Thanks for reading :D see you
